Nghe An, July 30, 2025 – Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Xen Commune, Trungnam Group has promptly provided emergency relief in the form of rice donations worth a total of VND 100 million to support border communities severely affected by recent floods, helping local residents stabilize their lives.
The devastating floods, caused by the impacts of Tropical Storm Wipha (Storm No. 3) and its aftermath, resulted in significant loss of life and property in Muong Xen Commune—one of the most disadvantaged border areas of Nghe An Province. Torrential rains and flash floods swept away houses, destroyed infrastructure, cut off traffic routes, and isolated entire villages. Many households lost everything and are now struggling with shortages of essential goods, food insecurity, and threats to their safety.
In response to this urgent situation, Trungnam Group promptly launched a relief program, donating rice—a vital staple—to help residents overcome immediate difficulties while local authorities continue efforts to address the disaster’s aftermath.

A representative of Trungnam Group shared:“The community is going through an extremely challenging period after the floods. We hope our contribution can, in some small way, help families regain stability. This reflects the values we strive to uphold in accompanying local communities across the country.”
In Muong Xen Commune, Trungnam Group has been an active participant in social welfare activities in recent years. In 2022, the group contributed over VND 1.4 billion to support households impacted by flooding, including 141 direct aid packages for severely affected families. In the same year, Trungnam Group funded and handed over the Ky Son High School Project, with a total investment of VND 210 billion—a significant milestone in improving educational facilities and enhancing learning quality in this border region.
The latest relief effort in Muong Xen reflects Trungnam Group’s long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility. The group prioritizes accompanying local authorities in remote, border, and disaster-prone areas where communities remain vulnerable. Moving forward, Trungnam Group will continue to implement practical and meaningful programs tailored to the needs of each locality, fostering sustainable development alongside the community.
