After 9 months of construction, Ky Son High School sponsored by Trungnam Group was inaugurated, becoming a national standard school for 2,000 mountainous students. With a total construction and equipment investment cost of 210 billion VND, the school was built on an area of about 2.6 hectares, with a modern, scientific design, meeting national standards for 2,000 students. The school has a total of 245 rooms including 45 classrooms, 25 functional rooms, 126 dormitories for students and 45 dormitories for teachers, with a modern, scientific design, in accordance with national specifications and standards.
Ky Son High School is the only high school in Ky Son district with more than 95% of students being children of ethnic minorities. The way to school for many students is through forests and streams, which is very dangerous, especially during the rainy season when storms, floods, and landslides often occur. Before the new school was built, the school's facilities were seriously degraded, there was no dormitory for students and teachers, affecting the learning process and quality of education in the locality.
