Biên Hòa – Vũng Tàu Expressway (Phase 1) — Trungnam E&C (a member of Trungnam) serves as the lead construction contractor for Component Project 1.

Total route length: Nearly 54 km, running from the National Highway 1 interchange (Biên Hòa City, Đồng Nai) to the interchange connecting into the coastal city of Vũng Tàu.

Scope of responsibility: Trungnam E&C is the leader of the construction consortium for Bid Package No. 18 (contract value of VND 1,479 billion). The assigned section stretches from Km0+000 to Km6+200.

Core construction items: Responsible for most of the key work fronts, including soft-soil ground treatment, roadbed embankment, hot-mix asphalt concrete paving, construction of the drainage culvert system, and the cross-route overpasses.

Total investment: The entire route is estimated at nearly VND 17,800 billion, divided into 3 component projects for independent implementation. Of these, Component Project 1 (the 16 km section passing through Đồng Nai province) has a total investment of over VND 6,000 billion, with the People's Committee of Đồng Nai Province acting as the investor.

Infrastructure significance: The expressway plays a strategic role in directly relieving traffic pressure on National Highway 51. This trunk route provides seamless connectivity between Long Thành International Airport and the Cái Mép – Thị Vải deep-water port cluster, boosting industrial and logistics development across the Southeast region.
