TRUONGNAM GROUP GIVES TO HAU GIANG 3,000 COVID-19 TESTING KITs AND 1 BILLION VND

Trungnam Group decided to send 3,000 Covid-19 test kits to the Department of Health in Hau Giang province on September 24 to work together to overcome the pandemic. In addition, the company donated 1 billion VND to the Hau Giang province Study Promotion Association to assist students with difficult family situations, and impoverished students overcome challenges to study well at the start of the year.
 
During the occasion, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee, stated that the province recently accomplished the goal of successful epidemic prevention, owing to the swift and timely support of enterprises. The cash for the Study Promotion Association will be utilized to acquire learning aids for students, particularly at the start of the new school year when students learn online.

As a result, the company purchased and transferred all 3,000 of these Covid-19 test kits from Ho Chi Minh City to Hau Giang within the last two days. This donation demonstrates Trungnam Group's and Hau Giang Province's spirit of cooperation and unity in the testing work to detect early infections and suspected infections in the area.
 
Despite various problems in production and business activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, Trungnam Group paid taxes and levies on schedule to help the state have a stable funding source to deal with the epidemic. Furthermore, Trungnam Group has contributed more than 46 billion VND to efforts around the country to purchase vaccines and prevent Covid-19. In which scenario, the Ministry of Finance will contribute USD 1 million (VND 23.2 billion) to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund.

In particular, the company sponsored the Ninh Thuan Fatherland Front with funds and machines to support epidemic prevention totaling 5.2 billion VND; supported Dak Lak province with 6 billion VND for epidemic prevention and 30 high-function ventilators; and contributed 500 million to Gia Lai province's Covid-19 prevention fund. Moreover, TNG also contributes 500 million VND to Gia Lai province's Covid-19 prevention fund; donate 200 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Covid-19 Vaccine Fund in Ea H'leo District (Dak Lak Province) or finance the construction of a disease screening house for the Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, and donate two blood gas system to Phu Tho field hospital.
