TRUNGNAM COMMITTED TO INVEST IN PEOPLE

The District Party Committee - Ky Son District People's Committee held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Ky Son High School in Hanoi on November 20, 2021, collaborating with Trung Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Trungnam Group). Huu Lap Commune is located in the Ky Son District of Nghe An Province.

The work began on Vietnam Teachers' Day, expressing gratitude to generations of Vietnamese teachers while also illuminating the intellectual spirit of thousands of students in the Ky Son district.

Ky Son is a mountainous border district in Nghe An province's west. Ky Son district has a significant geographical position, with more than 180 km of the district's northern, western, and southern boundaries being the national border, bordering Laos' districts and provinces. Furthermore, the rugged natural terrain of over 2,000m high mountains covered by more than 59,000 hectares of forest has created the district's endemic potential while also causing difficulties in construction and development.

The work was completed in Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, with a total investment capital of more than VND 110 billion sponsored by Trungnam Group. The project was built on an area of approximately 26,000 m2, with more than 40 classrooms, 8 function rooms, 122 boarding rooms, and 42 registration rooms, meeting the standards of the National Standard School. It is planned to renovate the old school (4 buildings), construct a new classroom building (5 floors), 1 dormitory building (3 floors), 2 boarding buildings (3 – 5 floors), and a football field, as well as ancillary works and infrastructure to support the teaching work of Ky Son High School's teachers and students.

Trungnam Group intends to use the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals as a guideline for the Company's action strategy over the next five years, with a strong emphasis on the following five goals: affordable and clean energy, Climate action, Industry-Innovation and Infrastructure, Quality education and No poverty. To ensure that the goals of the "Sustainable Development" strategy are balanced between growth, environmental benefits, and promoting corporate social responsibility, Trungnam Group has implemented over 364 social projects totaling more than VND 502 billion in the fields of education, health care, culture, and local infrastructure construction.

A total budget of more than VND 275 billion was invested in the education sector through infrastructure construction programs such as the construction of Dang Chi Thanh school in Ninh Thuan and Van Ly secondary school in Ha Nam. Chau Hoa Secondary School - Ben Tre, Dam Quang Trung Secondary School - Da Nang..., Trungnam Group demonstrated their enthusiasm for improving education quality to create sustainable values, working alongside the government to enhance the quality of education in Vietnam.
