PM VISITS CA NA SEAPORT COMPLEX IN NINH THUAN.

During his working tour, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and reviewed several big projects and activities in Ninh Thuan. The following comrades accompanied the Prime Minister: Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son; Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung; Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha; Secretary of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Thanh; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

TrungnamGroup Chairman Nguyen Tam Thinh welcomes Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to visit Ca Na - Ninh Thuan Complex project.

The Prime Minister visited the Ca Na complex and the Ca Na port in Phuoc Diem commune, Thuan Nam district, on April 16. Ca Na complex, according to the plan, includes IDC port, Ca Na logistics with a total area of 125 hectares, a maximum capacity of 800,000 containers per year, and a total investment of VND 3,600 billion; Ca Na Complex Seaport with a total investment of 5,600 billion VND; Ca Na industrial park with a total area of more than 800 hectares and a total investment of 5,000 billion VND; and LNG gas power plant with a total capacity of 6,000 MW (1500 MWx4 units) with a total investment of 52,000 billion VND. Trungnam Group's Ca Na Complex seaport project, phase 1, is set to commence operations in the first quarter of 2022.

The Prime Minister and investors recalled that ten years ago, he shared with investors the vision and requirements for developing this area, with the primary development motivation based on science, technology, and innovation; harmonizing interests between the state, businesses, and people, putting the nation's and nation's interests first and foremost. The Prime Minister urged these rules and requirements to implement throughout the following development process.

The first cargo ships landed on April 7 and 8, 2022, at - Ca Na Thuan Nam Complex Seaport - Ninh Thuan. This is a significant milestone, paving the way for the usage of 1A port and demonstrating that Ca Na Seaport will soon become an exceedingly handy transshipment point for the South Central region in the following time.
