On January 29, 2016, in Da Nang City, Trung Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Trungnam Group) solemnly organized the inauguration ceremony for the Nguyen Tat Thanh Street extension project to Golden Hills urban area. This is considered a vital milestone in the socio-economic development strategy of Northwest Da Nang City, bringing great joy to local residents ahead of the 2016 Lunar New Year.
The extension of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street leading into Golden Hills urban area was invested in by Trungnam Group under a Build-Transfer (BT) contract, located across Hoa Hiep Nam ward (Lien Chieu district) and Hoa Lien commune (Hoa Vang district), Da Nang City. The total length of the route is 2.7 km (featuring a 2x20m span bridge at Km0+927.57), with a 41m wide roadbed (comprising two 7.5m lanes, a 15m central median, and 5.5m sidewalks on each side). Designated as a major urban thoroughfare, the route was built with modern, durable infrastructure and equipped with underground electrical lighting systems to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow.
The completion of the Nguyen Tat Thanh Street extension significantly reduces the distance from the city center to the Northwest region from 23 km to approximately 11 km. It serves as a main arterial road connecting the Northwestern gateway of Da Nang with major traffic hubs, including the bypass road south of Hai Van - Tuy Loan Tunnel, the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway, and the Nguyen Tat Thanh – Thuan Phuoc Bridge – Hoang Sa – Truong Sa route. Once operational, this arterial route links the city center and Son Tra district directly with Golden Hills Eco-Urban Area, Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, and the Centralized IT Park; alongside regional feeder roads, it will serve as a key economic catalyst for Northwest Da Nang.
According to Mr. Bui Xuan Dinh – General Director: "Northwest Da Nang is blessed with rich natural landscapes featuring rivers, mountains, and coastal areas, ideal for developing eco-tourism, residential communities, and high-tech projects, which have yet to be fully realized. We hope that the operation of the extended Nguyen Tat Thanh Street will enhance local mobility and drive robust economic development throughout the area."
On the occasion of this inauguration ceremony, Trungnam Group presented 50 gratitude houses worth 2.5 billion VND to officers and soldiers in the People's Public Security force facing housing difficulties across the country. This gesture reflects Trungnam Group's deep appreciation for those who serve the nation, aiming to share hardship and support frontline officers.
