ADMIRING THE MAJESTIC BEAUTY OF TRUNG NAM WIND POWER FARM

Trung Nam Wind Power Plant is one of Trungnam Group's most prominent renewable energy projects, located in Loi Hai and Bac Phong communes, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province. Groundbroken in August 2016, the wind farm features a total capacity of 151.95 MW, with an operational duration of 2,785 hours per year and an expected output of 423 million kWh/year.

With gearless turbine technology, wind towers at Trung Nam Wind Power Plant can operate normally as soon as wind speeds reach 2.5 m/s, starting up at the same low wind threshold—a capability almost unequaled by other projects in Vietnam as of May 2019. Furthermore, lacking gearboxes significantly reduces turbine maintenance demands by eliminating mechanical friction and wear, minimizing upkeep costs while boosting operational uptime and energy output.
