On October 12, 2020, in Phuoc Minh commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province, Trungnam Group hosted the inauguration ceremony for the 500kV Substation and 220/500kV Transmission Line integrated with the 450 MW AC Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant. The event carries profound significance as a key major project welcoming the 14th Congress of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee for the 2021–2025 tenure.

With the approval of Ninh Thuan provincial leadership, Trungnam Group was selected as the investor for the 500kV Substation and 220/500kV Transmission Line integrated with the 450 MW AC Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant under Official Dispatch No. 831/UBND-KTTH dated March 18, 2020, and Investment Decision No. 79/QD-UBND dated April 3, 2020, issued by the Ninh Thuan People's Committee. Trungnam Group rapidly expedited legal procedures while concentrating all resources to construct day and night without weekends or holidays, fulfilling the task assigned by the provincial government to complete the integrated project within 2020.

Executing a massive project over 557.09 hectares, encompassing over 17 km of 500kV and 220kV transmission lines stretching from Phuoc Minh commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province to Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province, typically requires an extended timeline. However, with unwavering determination, Trungnam Group broke ground in mid-May 2020 and established a target completion date within Q4/2020.

Targeting project completion within 102 days, Trungnam Group accomplished site clearance within the first 45 days. Concurrently, a workforce exceeding 8,000 officers, engineers, and workers deployed continuous construction across 557.09 hectares to deliver the project on schedule.
Alongside project construction, Trungnam Group firmly believes that corporate growth must link directly with social responsibility and local community advancement. Sustaining and promoting these humanitarian values, Trungnam Group donated 102 gratitude houses worth a total of VND 5.1 billion to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, the Thuan Nam District People's Committee, and the Poor Patients Association of Ninh Thuan province to support disadvantaged local families.
In addition to generating over 1 billion kWh of electricity annually from renewable sources (1.2 billion kWh in its first year), the 500kV Substation and 220/500kV Transmission Line integrated with the 450 MW AC Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant plays a crucial role in relieving grid curtailment across Ninh Thuan and the South Central Coast. The project's 2 substations with a total capacity of 1,800 MVA, combined with transmission lines, significantly enhance grid connectivity and reliability across the South Central region.

Completing and operating the 500kV Substation and 220/500kV Transmission Line integrated with the 450 MW AC Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant delivers several key milestones:
- Helps realize Government Resolution 115 to transform Ninh Thuan into the national renewable energy hub.
- Contributes significantly to relieving capacity curtailment for renewable energy plants across Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, preventing power cutbacks that cause trillions of VND in annual losses, improving the provincial investment environment, and resolving national power shortages.
- Adds over 1 billion kWh annually to the national grid, driving renewable energy development to replace non-renewable power sources and safeguard the environment.
- Implements Politburo Resolution 55 by advancing renewable energy growth and encouraging private investment in power generation and transmission infrastructure.
The 500kV Substation and 220/500kV Transmission Line integrated with the 450 MW AC Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant represents an urgent strategic project supporting Ninh Thuan's power transmission infrastructure, the South Central Coast, and national grid capacity. Executed by Trungnam Group with a total investment capital of VND 12,000 billion, the project spans a 450 MW AC solar power plant, a 500kV substation, and over 17 km of 500kV/220kV transmission lines stretching from Phuoc Minh commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province to Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.
Commissioning this integrated infrastructure marks a historic landmark in Vietnam's energy sector as a private enterprise successfully invests in national power transmission infrastructure with multilateral consensus from central to local governments. Beyond success in renewable energy projects spanning hydro, wind, and solar power, Trungnam Group is expanding into LNG power development in alignment with Politburo Resolution No. 55-NQ/TW on National Energy Development Strategy, prioritizing energy diversification and clean energy utilization.

Concurrently, Trungnam Group is executing the Ca Na General Seaport Project in Ninh Thuan, scheduled to complete Berth No. 1 (70,000 – 100,000 DWT) by December 2022. Once operational, the seaport will support the transportation of oversized and overweight equipment for renewable energy and gas power projects across Ninh Thuan, the South Central Coast, and Central Highlands.
Leveraging existing infrastructure, proven expertise in renewable energy deployment, and a high-caliber team of engineers, Trungnam Group solidifies its position as a highly capable investor for large-scale future gas power projects.
