The delegation directly surveyed Berth No. 1A—the first item that has been completed and put into operation. To date, Berth No. 1A has handled nearly 2 million tons of cargo through the port, contributing more than VND 32 billion to the state budget. At present, the investor, Trung Nam Ca Ná International Port Joint Stock Company, is urgently constructing Berth No. 1B with items including bored piles and ground treatment, striving to complete it in June 2027.
Speaking at the site, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Viet Hung committed to accompany and provide maximum support to the investor, especially by promoting administrative reform and ensuring legal procedures are handled as quickly and conveniently as possible. He also requested that the investor strictly implement its commitments on the project schedule to ensure it does not affect the province’s overall socio-economic development roadmap.
