On November 7, 2020, at Trung Nam Wind Power Plant (Ba Thap hamlet, Bac Phong commune, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province), Trungnam Group and Sany Group conducted an equipment handover ceremony for Trungnam Group's renewable energy projects. This represents the outcome of a $67 million equipment supply contract signed between the two parties on May 7, 2020.
On November 7, 2020, at Trung Nam Wind Power Plant (Ba Thap hamlet, Bac Phong commune, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province), Trungnam Group and Sany Group conducted an equipment handover ceremony for Trungnam Group's renewable energy projects. This represents the outcome of a $67 million equipment supply contract signed between the two parties on May 7, 2020.
Under this contract, 23 pieces of equipment from the initial delivery batch completed manufacturing, load testing inspection, transportation, and successful assembly at Trung Nam Wind Power Plant, including 3 large 800-ton crawler cranes. Deliveries for the remaining equipment will be completed by December this year.
Concurrently with the equipment handover, both parties signed a second equipment supply contract and a strategic partnership agreement right at the Trung Nam Wind Power Plant. Accordingly, Trungnam Group will invest in an additional equipment package worth over $30 million, bringing total equipment investment to over $100 million for nearly 80 crawler and mobile cranes ranging from 25 to 1,250 tons, including 18 crawler cranes with capacities from 800 to 1,250 tons—equivalent to 18 wind turbine installation lines. Operating the largest fleet of equipment in this sector resolves a major bottleneck for wind power construction in Vietnam.
Under the signed strategic partnership, the parties will proceed toward comprehensive cooperation in executing Trungnam Group's renewable energy projects across Vietnam.
Within the event framework, Trungnam Group and Sany Group organized a tour of the Trung Nam Wind Power Project and set up an equipment display area, providing partners, investors, and contractors an objective view of the project execution capabilities and equipment supply capacities of both parties.
